Tempus Project: Education Policy Study Programme in Serbia and Montenegro

Three universities from Serbia (University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, and University of Kragujevac) along with University of Montenegro, intend to launch joint education policy study master and Ph.D programme, with the support of a number of EU partner universities (University of Ljubljana, Aarhus University, Denmark, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium), higher education authorities from Serbia and Montenegro (Ministry of Education of Serbia, Ministry of Education and Science of Montenegro, Provincial Department for Education of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina) and Centre for Education Policy, Belgrade. The programme will be developed under the scheme of Tempus IV Project No: 159074-TEMPUS-1-2009-1-RS-TEMPUS-JPCR.

EPSP is a Tempus IV project funded by the European Commission. Its primary mission is to contribute to the reform of education system in Serbia and Montenegro through the improvement and strengthening of professional capacities for education policy development and implementation.

Specific objective the project shall achieve is to establish modern, flexible and internationally recognised programmes (Master and PhD level) on education policy, compliant with the highest European standards (including Bologna process requirements) and designed to meet constantly changing needs of education systems and to respond to expectations of different groups of learners and users.
